Bill Robertz Invitational – October 19, 2008

On October 18th and 19th, two tournaments were hosted in honor of two highly influential figures. Minnesota State University – Mankato hosted the Larry Schnoor Invitational in honor of Dr. Schnoor, a key figure in the development of collegiate forensics. Gustavus Adolphus College hosted the Bill Robertz Invitational in honor of Dr. Robertz, a man who was instrumental in the history of the Gustavus Adolphus College forensics program. These two tournaments attracted a variety of nationally successful schools including Illinois State University, University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, Ohio University, and more. Gustavus Adolphus College had a successful weekend, earning first place on the first day and performing well at their own tournament while upperclassmen were not competing to assist with the tournament.
