11th Annual “Hell Froze Over” Swing
January 16 – 17, 2010
This past weekend, the Gustavus Adolphus College Forensics Team flew down to the Lone Star State to compete in the 11th Annual “Hell Froze Over” Swing co-hosted by Bradley University and the University of Texas at Austin. Competing on the UT Austin campus, the GAC Forensics Team faced strong competition from 40 teams. Most of the top 20 nationally ranked programs were in attendance.
Over the two tournaments, the team broke twelve events to outrounds of competition. Sophomore Chloe Radcliffe won both the Communication Analysis and Drama categories on the second day, allowing her to take 2nd place in Overall Individual Sweepstakes – becoming the first Gustie to place in the Individual Sweepstakes at the tournament.
